CDR-Media Limited's Conditions of Sale
The following are terms and conditions for the sale of goods that will govern any contract for sale that we enter into with you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. Please read these carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in UK pounds sterling or in Euros depending upon the customer's selection in our shopping basket and will be billed in that currency. If your credit card company operate in a different currency, your credit card company will convert payment from UK pounds sterling or Euros to your local currency at their current conversion rate.
We currently only accept VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, Switch, Solo and JCB.

(IMPORTANT NOTES):
Customers using Switch should supply a "Start/Issue Date" and an "Issue Number" for the card where applicable, as well as card number and expiry date. Customers using Visa, Mastercard and Visa Debit CNP transactions should supply two sets of security information. The information required is the Address verification Service (AVS) which is derived from the address of the card holder and the Card Security Code which is printed on the back of the credit card.
Where applicable, UK VAT at the current rate has been included in prices shown.
The purchaser is liable for any local state or country taxes, should these arise. According to our current information, these will not normally arise for deliveries to EU members and some other European countries.
Purchasing from us
To purchase from us you must be over 18. By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods at prices and terms as stated, and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors).
Should there be a misprint or typing error in the description or price which is brought to our attention before the time of despatch we reserve the right to cancel the order immediately. In this case we and will contact the customer to notify them of the change(s) giving them the opportunity of proceeding with the amended order with the corrected description and/or price or canceling the order at their discretion.
We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address above. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full. If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact our Sales Department immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. If you order software from us you will also be bound by the terms of the software licence supplied with the software.
All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Errors and omissions excepted. Subject to not selling below our cost price. All goods are shown on the web site excluding and also including VAT, at the standard rate (17.5% ) unless otherwise stated. For out of stock items, delivery dates given are only estimates.
Delivery
We aim to deliver goods to you within the time indicated by us but we cannot give an exact delivery time or date. We also may deliver the goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this. If we have not dispatched the goods within 30 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract. We will refund any money paid by you. UPS will only hold your package for up to 5 days, if the package has not been successfully delivered within the time given the order will be returned back to us and classed as a failed delivery. If you order has been classed as a failed delivery, we can either re-send the order (at your cost) or a refund will be issued for the order and items restocked (a 15% restocking fee will apply)
We use an established Courier "UPS". Experience tells us that the cheapest transport is not the best. For more information see http://www.ups.com.

Damaged or defective goods
You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must inform us as soon as possible and we will arrange for their return to us or the manufacturer, warranty on all items is RTB (Return to Base) excluding items damaged in transit, (these will be replaced at no cost to you). If the goods are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will repair or replace the goods or refund the price paid by you.
Business customers
Business customers can call us on 0161 343 7773 or fax us on 0161 339 0650 and ask for trade sales. Alternatively the latest trade price list can be downloaded directly from the web site. If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes we shall not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect) business data, revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability shall be limited to the price paid for the goods. We do not exclude our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury. For our performance time is not of the essence. Returns are subject to a 15% Re-Handing fee. You will not export any goods purchased from us in contravention of United States of America export controls.
Other information you need to be aware of
A copy of these Terms and Conditions and your order may not be kept by us and so we advise you to print a copy of them for your information in the future. If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract (other than for video, audio or software products which have been unsealed by you) and receive a refund, provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition, a 15% re-handling fee will be applied to all goods returned unless goods are faulty. You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days starting on the day after the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost.
Returns
All Returns must have an issued returns number, accompanied by returns form (with all requested information clearly visible). The warranty on all items is RTB (Return to base) the item(s) must be sent back at your own cost (this is non-refundable). All consumables are not covered by any warranty if they have been used or subject to usage, and are non exchangeable or refundable. All hardware items are covered by a 30 day RTB warranty (unless stated otherwise). All items suspected to be faulty will be tested, if no fault can be found or unable to re-create the suspected fault, then the item will be returned to you at your own cost, or a refund for the item will be issued and the item restocked (Please note a 15% re-handling fee applies).
This is important. Please read carefully:
Please note your right to cancel does not apply to Software, Video or Audio recordings that have been opened. You have the right to cancel this contract for no reason at all.
However, we will only accept unwanted computer products for refund within 7 days of delivery, provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition, a 15% re-handling fee will apply to all returned goods. If you wish to cancel this contract, please write to Contract Cancellation, CDR Media Limited, Unit 9A, Charlestown industrial Estate, Robinson Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, England, OL6 8NS. To cancel this contract you must give us notice within 7 working days starting on the day after the day you receive the goods from us. Alternatively fax us on 0161 339 0650 or Email sales@acpd.co.uk . We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any costs to collect the goods if required, within 30 days starting with the day on which we receive a notice of cancellation in writing from you. We would remind you that once you have notified us of your desire to cancel the contract there is a legal requirement for you to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods to us at your cost to the relevant address below and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost.
